For high speed pump and compressor drives, covering a wide spectrum of applications within the oil & gas industry, Allen Gears offers highly efficient, reliable epicyclic and parallel shaft gearing solutions.

We have manufactured hundreds of units for these applications, many proving critical to their operation – We continue to design and manufacture mechanical drive transmissions for demanding API applications, year on year.

Units can be speed increasing or speed decreasing, and epicyclic or parallel shaft gearboxes can be incorporated depending on the specific characteristics and requirements of the site. Each unit is bespoke and custom-designed to suit.

We work to the latest API standards where required, and can develop fully integrated solutions, for example by integration of the lubricating oil systems within our scope of supply.
